Diesel particulate filter (DPF) for LUPO 3L (03/2019)

The VW Lupo 3L was the first vehicle with a Volkswagen unit injection (UI) engine which was converted by ELSBETT on vegetable oil operation. The conversion was a must as the design of this engine was very similar to the original ELSBETT engine. As a result, the first converted Lupos 3Ls were handed over to customers at the end of the 1990s. Due to the then development, these vehicles were not yet equipped with diesel particulate filters. Retrofitting is therefore in demand again and again, since the vehicle trains are considered to be very long-lived, in particular because of their aluminum body. That's why we are now offering these filters specifically for our customers who already have a converted vehicle. Please just inquire here.
