30 years of pumping station with 5 x 355 ELSBETT engines (06/2024)

It was almost exactly 30 years ago that we equipped a pumping station in the Main Rhine area with 5 pump units for flood protection. These have been operated with our own ELSBETT 355 series engines since 1994. As the pumping station was installed in a drinking water protection area, it was important to the operator to operate the units with environmentally friendly and safe vegetable oil fuel. Well maintained by the operator, the system is still in very good condition. This year's service was therefore mainly limited to inspection work.
