What will your boat run on next season? (02/2025)

Wintertime is repair time for "inland shipping". 30 years ago we equipped the first boats with vegetable oil engines for Lake Constance, among other places. These had already proven themselves in tough charter operations and proved their suitability for everyday use. Using vegetable oil as fuel also avoided the risk of water pollution when refueling or other fuel losses in water. After all, vegetable oil is also nutritious fish food. Electric drives could also be a solution here, but the weight is simply too great with larger battery storage systems. After all, the boat still has to float. With our many different conversion kits for almost all common brands of diesel engines, we are also offering interesting alternatives to conventional drives for this season.
